After receiving his basic education in music with the Regensburg Boys´ Choir, BEAVER composed his first songs in the beginning of the 1980s. Until the beginning of the 1990s, BEAVER´s music was shaped by rock, pop, jazz and classical influences. A sample of his songs from this time period was published in 1993 on his first CD "FRIENDS". This CD provides a one hour overview of the first decade of BEAVER´s compositions.

In the middle of the 1990s, the music of this young composer changed. Marked by impressions from his chosen home in Greece and Mediterranean influences, his music grew more intensive and introverted. Now the piano took over the musical predominance and esoteric sounds shaped his compositions.

His mood in the middle of this decade was romantic and partly melancholic. Carried along melodic lines, which differentiated BEAVER´s music from the mass of new age music CDs which were being produced at that time, his first conceived album was created. "BLUE" transcribes in a very emotional way BEAVER´s love of the ocean and the atmosphere of solitary strolls along the beach. As with "FRIENDS", the press again showed their enthusiasm for this work. The remarks ranged from "heavenly" to "a masterwork". Nevertheless, and probably even because of this, not one second of this album fit into the musical landscape of the monotone and structured TV and radio.

Just one year later, in 1999, BEAVER published his third album and named it after his astrological sign "GEMINI".

Like the album before it, the painting on the cover originates from BEAVER´s friend the Greek painter MINAS VLAHOS who lives on the wild-romantic island Karpathos in the Aegean Sea. Whereas his 1998 album "BLUE" is a journey into self-awareness, the musical intention the inner self, the theme of "GEMINI" shifts to the duality of life, characterized by the astrological sign of the same name. With the surrealistic paintings of MINAS VLAHOS that together with BEAVER's music create a unique symbiosis of music & art, a world-music and at the same time Mediterranean album emerged with rhythmic colors of various timeless stylistics in alternation with romantic, melodic ballads.

The musical theme of the GEMINI-album can be described very well with the expression "Panta Rei" which was taken from Greek mythology. BEAVER plans to carry this theme and life motto over into his next musical projects:
All is in a state of flux!
In the beginning of this new millenium, BEAVER´s music represents musical innovation, dreamy romanticism, and a peaceful and artful analysis of the changing themes of our times.
